OPENING TIMES & GENERAL INFORMATION

We have decided to open a separate entrance for pre-purchased ticket holders, not only a fast track entry but we are opening 30 minutes before the general public! This gives these dedicated tattoo collectors an opportunity to secure appointments with their desired artists.

EXPO INFO

Sydney Tattoo & Body Art Expo will be hosted at The Sydney Showgrounds Halls 3 & 4, on Friday 11th to Sunday 13th March 2011 in Sydney Olympic Park, New South Wales.

Tickets are available online from November 2010 and at the door starting Friday 11th March 2011.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

This is a clean, safe, family-oriented, tattoo expo and party. You'll have fun and be able to see the best artists doing the best tattooing and piercing from across the globe. If this is not your expo, please don't bother to come
but if it is, you will have the time of your life! Bring your friends.

DO NOT BRING:
Video-Cameras, Professional SLR/DSLR Cameras, Promotional Materials, Samples, Postcards, Fliers and Weapons.

EVERYONE IS SUBJECT TO A SEARCH - ALL BAGS/BACKPACKS ARE SUBJECT TO A SEARCH

NO CLUB COLOURS - NO PATCHES
This applies to motorcycle clubs and has nothing to do with race creed or colour.

CAMERAS & VIDEO RECORDING DEVICES

NON-PROFESSIONAL CAMERA
Non-professional cameras are allowed but get permission from artist before taking photos.

PROFESSIONAL CAMERA
Professional SLR type cameras are NOT allowed unless you obtain a Media Pass from the Expo organisers.

VIDEO Recording
Video Cameras and Camcorders are NOT allowed unless you obtain a Media Pass from the Expo organisers.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

ON ADMISSION
There is NO RESTRICTION on admission as far as age is concerned. Children under 9 will be admitted free of charge with an accompanying paid adult. Children usually enjoy and have lots of fun at the expo.

ON TATTOOING
Australian law prohibit:
(1) anyone tattooing minors(under age 18), (2) any minor from getting tattoo.

ON PIERCING
Current Australian law allow minors (above age 16) to get body piercing with written parental consent.

APPOINTMENTS

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH AN ARTIST
It is advisable to pre-set appointment with your favourite artist so you would not have to wait around. But it is also nice to see the works of different artists before choosing your favourite one. At this expo, you will find local, national, and international artists who may have busy schedules at the expo.

ALREADY HAVE AN APPOINTMENT
Arrive early to purchase your ticket to ensure that you can get into the expo on time. Management will not take any responsibility regarding your appointment or your admission to the expo.

There is a $10 registration fee required. Check out our TATTOO CONTEST page for contest schedule. There is also a 2 year restriction on previous contest winners. This means that if you were a contest winner of our expo, you will not be allowed to enter the winning tattoo into the same contest category within a 2 year period.

2YEAR CONTEST WINNER RESTRICTION RULE
To be fair to all contestants, we have a 2 year restriction policy for past contest winners; meaning if you were the contest winner at the expo, you are not allowed to enter the winning tattoo into the same contest category within a 2 year period.
